Cpt. Eric saved our bacon on this vacation. Had a five hour fishing trip booked with another charter (who shall remain nameless) here in the thick of snapper season. The water had been super choppy, so I got notified 4 hours before that trip was supposed to go out that other captain canceled, which left us scrambling. Lucky we found Semper Fi. Captain Eric was much more communicative, gave us options, was honest about what he could do given the conditions, aggressive yet kept us safe. Once we got out there, we were on the fish immediately. When deckhand Zach (who’s awesome) told us our baits should either catch a fish ten seconds after hitting bottom or we’ve lost it, I knew we were with the right guys. Both Cpt. Eric and Zach are hard workers, humble, skilled, and fun to be around. We caught 52 lbs. of fish and should have caught more that we lost. These guys are the truth, have a big, solid boat, good equipment. I can’t imagine a better time. We’ll for sure book with them again when in the area next time without hesitation, and you should too.

The captain knows the sea, he puts you right on the fish and makes sure you’re satisfied with your experience before going back ashore.

We had the afternoon trip with captain Eric. He put us on the fish right away. Our trip started at 2 and we were tagged out by 3:30. We had a blast! I highly recommend this fishing trip. The best part about the whole thing is the captain is a military veteran, a man who fought for this great country will always have my support.
