We took an early morning booking in mid-August as a family party of 5.  The first half was slow but the second half picked up and we caught 6 good sized salmon and halibut. We threw one back as per ministry regulations. Captain Kelly was very friendly and informative and his vessel is a very comfortable size for 5 adults. Captain Kelly also indulged our love for wildlife and kindly went out of his way to stop and watch the seals.  We would definitely book with Last Chance when we come... Meer

From the minute we got on board, Kelly made the afternoon one for books. A great storyteller but a better guide. He prepared us for the day and let us know what we could “expect” and didn’t not disappoint. We caught everything we hoped for and more - plus had time to check a few traps and visit with some seals on the way back. Kelly was impressively knowledgeable and shared historical facts and fascinating facts about fishing. He generously answered every question my children had (and they had many!), and the some. We absolutely loved our experience. Caught many fish and took home four good ones. Travelling home with fish? Check with your hotel to see if they’ll freeze it for you. Delta Marriott did for free, so we just had to buy extra large ziplocks and a disposable cooler. Customs let us carry it on but... Meer

Had an amazing trip today with Captain Kelly. From start to finish he helped make us three rookies feel welcome. With 17 fish on and 7 keepers it was a fun day. The crab treat at the end means we will be eating like kings tonight. That said, even if we caught nothing I would recommend an outing with Captain Kelly. He was knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining. Exactly what we were looking for. When back in town I will be looking him up again.
