Unfortunately your charter date coincided with not only a mild cold front and windy conditions, but also unseasonably high tides which made fishing difficult. Through it all though I am glad we persevered and were able to put you on multiple Black Drum, Redfish, and Snook to go with Sheepshead, Flounder, and Snapper. The extra two hours of fishing - free of charge - were my way of going the extra mile to make sure that your day was a success despite the conditions. Sorry you feel that way. It is my sole purpose to make sure that every customer has a good time and catches fish. I do believe some of your facts are more than slightly misconstrued though. You and your wife caught plenty of fish on a very tough tide and under less than perfect conditions. You caught Sheepshead, Black Drum, Redfish, and Snook.  Yes, I did Fish along side of you but only to help with a slow bite and every rod with a Fish was given to you and your wife, and at no time during the trip did I ignore the needs of either you or your wife and was attentive throughout( all of my clients appreciate the added effort and also appreciate the extra work I put in to insure a successful trip for them ) You also left out how your wife had trouble using the light spin Tackle we use, and I spent the day gladly helping her cast so that she could be in the areas where the fish were holding. Also, please don’t try and make it out as if I spent the whole day talking about my home, or myself, or whatever. Part of this job is talking to people for the time we are on the water and if my home or any of my achievements happened to come up in the course of casual conversation then I don’t feel as if I have anything to apologize for. I’ve worked hard for what I have and what I have done but don’t slant it to make it seem like all I do is talk about myself. It’s not me, and it’s not true. Lastly, my job is to help catch people fish, I have to put them in the best spots to match the conditions, I have to keep them safe, many days I have to help them cast, and I also have to Coach them through how to hook, fight, and land the fish we are targeting, there is a big difference between that and how you portrayed me supposedly “telling you what to do” for six hours. At no time during the duration of your trip did you express any problems and if you had I would have gladly corrected them immediately or let you Fish on your own with limited help if that is what you would have preferred. Once again I am sorry that you feel that your experience was less than satisfactory but I don’t feel as if I did anything wrong enough to warrant your remarks.
