Techniques: I prefer trolling and bottom fishing all of the inshore/nearshore reefs, wrecks and especially live bottom areas while sight casting for larger gamefish. I also enjoy fishing around the jetties and inside the creeks for flounder, trout, sheepshead, red and black drum.

Went to Belkie Bear and couldn’t hardly get more than two lines in the water before we were hooked up over and over with Kings.

Brandon and Ryan caught Kings on a nearshore reef in the morning and Redfish in the afternoon doubling up on overslot and slot one after another for 3hrs straight!

Great time. The fishing was a little slow due to water temps being hot. We caught our first fish within 10 minutes of casting! Perrin was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. We had to cut the trip short due to weather moving in. Perrin was very cautious about everyone’s safety which was appreciated. He prorated our trip to the correct time/cost. Good trip overall. I would suggest calling ahead of time to ask about water temps and general conditions before booking :)

Captain Perrin was incredible. I’ve been taking my little brother on a variety of charter boats for a few years, and we’ve never caught anything. Captain Perrin went above and beyond to ensure my little brother landed a fish, even when other charter boats weren’t having much luck. Thank you! We fished 11 miles off to begin with, which we normally during this time of year,catch a lot of fish but no one was getting bites out of 8 boats so I knew we needed to work closer inshore. I was so happy to see us get into some overslot redfish(27in). Always great to see someone catch a gamefish we chase all year long. Captain Perrin gave a valiant effort to get us in the fish. Unfortunately, the waters weren’t ideal for good fishing on our trip. Bad weather had just come through a week or so prior to us going out. Therefore, we were not allowed to go far out into the open ocean. Everything inland was all stirred up still and the fish just weren’t biting. I don’t blame Captain Perrin one bit.
