I highly recommend this charter company. Captain Axl was very friendly and knowledgeable about the fish in the area and where and when to catch them.  Axl speaks great english and is fun to talk with. We caught baracuda and 30lbs Wahoo! When we got back to the shore he cleaned the wahoo and we we then introduced us to the chef at the newrest beach restaurant. they prepared incredibly tasty wahoo filets and tacos! Muy bien! After lunch Axl helped us get a taxi and we headed back to the crusie... Meer

We had messaged ahead of the trip to optimize for mahi leaving time for some bottom fishing. Capt and crew were well prepared with equipment and bait and knew where to go. We quickly picked up our first mahi and then hooked up with another and a barracuda. After the trolling action died out we picked up 3 red snappers. Capt cleaned the fish and walked them over to a small beach restaurant that grilled the mahi and fried the snapper to perfection.

We came to Costa Maya on a cruise, but wanted to try fishing.  La Diosa Del Mar was a great choice.  They had a can waiting to take us to the boat where we were greeted by the captain and a very nice young lady.  They explained that it was windy and not great fishing weather.  They let us choose if we wanted to go fishing or get a refund.  We chose to fish and were definitely glad we did.  It was fun riding in the boat with our lines out and despite the fact that the fish weren’t biting... we had an awesome time. we booked a 3 hour tour got two king mackeral in the boat had a third on the but as my dad moved to the back of the boat he accidentally put the boat in nutral loosing one fish before we could set the hook. extra time was well worth the money.

The crew worked their butts off to get us some fish in rough conditions. Ended up with two nice barracuda for dinner.
