First time client.  Gorgeous boat and good equipment.  I’ve been avidly fishing Rockport since the early 90’s.  Cap’t Eli is not only hard working and knowledgeable, but a pleasant alternative to the old guard grumpy elite.  The type that come unglued if your’e a minute late to the dock, or and HEY it’s 11:00am - roll em up. We have used a lot of guides and Capt Eli is one of the best!  He is very knowledgeable of the area and how to find the fish. We had great success catching very large Reds. He is friendly and you can tell he does his homework to give you the best chance at fishing success.

My husband and I used Capt. Eli at Rippin’ Gills and we had a BLAST! I booked an afternoon trip due to the cooler weather in November and I worried that the fish would not be biting as well then, but Capt. Eli knew where the fish were and we caught our limit in less than 2 hrs. and continued to fish (catch & release) afterwards.  Capt. Eli also took the time to explain fishing techniques.  I will definitely use him again.

We had an excellent time!! An 8 year old fisherman and a four year old princess both has fun. My daughter didn’t care one bit about fishing, and Elijah managed to entertain her! They sang Moana, songs from Frozen, and she loved to sit up there with him when changing locations. My son was happy the whole time and caught several fish throughout the morning (though none big enough to save). Great time, greater captain.
