Slow day but still csught dinner

A very sloppy ocean today kept us from heading down the beach to the offshore reefs. Caught some shorts and bluefish but got a 20 inch keeper.

A nice calm sea with lots of action and fluke for dinner.

Started out in sloppy conditions with wind against tide. After some moves and a change of tides we got on the fish and caught a bunch of shorts and a 4 lbs and a 5 lbs. the wind switched to the south and started blowing which killed the bite.

Started a little slow but we moved around a bit until we got into some action with shorts. Also some blues and skates.

Caught a bunch of fluke up to 19 inches along with bluefish and a big cow nose sting ray.

My son and I wanted to go fishing and decided to try a charter as opposed to party boats. Gear on boat is all in great condition, Karl knows where to fish and explains the area your fishing in to understand where the fish are. Gives clear guidance and made the trip very enjoyable. While we did not catch any doormats, we caught quite a bit of fluke to make the day a lot of fun. Definitely would go back.
