Was on a family trip with my dad and wanted to go fishing but didn’t have our gear with us. Was such a great experience, would highly recommend. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of the questions we had and more. We caught several good size fish and went home very happy. We kept catching big out of season grouper which is sadly out of our control but it just made us want to keep fishing to see the other big fish we could find.

I live in Colorado and was headed to Tampa to visit friends. I wanted to do some fishing in the Gulf. Capt Steve listened to our requests and set up an awesome day. He has us on a bite all trip. He had plenty of hot spots to move us to if things started to slow. We booked a 3/4 day and it was perfect. My son hooked a gag grouper that was over 20”. by the end of the trip we were satisfied and with a full bag. He cleaned them and even offered up a local restaurant that would cook our catch if we wanted. Excellent trip, and if I am back in Tampa and looking to fish. I will be calling Steve first to check availability.

I contacted Captain Steve and we discussed the particular needs of my family. Mainly that one member had never been on the open water and often got motion sickness. He listened well, and gave me a clear breakdown of our day sharing his advice on how to make her comfortable. When our day came, Steve took us on a great day of fishing. We went to four different spots, and caught 25-30 different fins of several species. The highlight was when that family member landed a juvenile hammerhead! Steve confidently gave her the shark to hold, and she posed for pictures. Watching them later, her smile couldn’t have been wider! Thanks, Steve! Went with a friend who is a newbie, I’ve been fishing before but have somewhat limited experience. Captain Steve is very insightful as to the needs of his passengers and able to help us each at our own level of experience. Our day out was a little choppy so he took his boat to areas that he knew would be more comfortable for us to fish and he got us on the bite right away—picked up some Spanish mackerel and silver trout keepers. We had to throw a grouper and spotted trout back for undersize, but we had a great day and still caught enough for the two of us to eat for 3-4 meals! The unforgettable/unbelievable part of our trip was when my newbie buddy got a hit from a tarpon. That fish bent the pole big-time and we saw it jump twice before snapping the line (we were inshore, light tackle)!

Monster fish, non-stop action, and the trip of a lifetime!

An unforgettable day on the water with My Girls Adventures! From the first cast, the action was non-stop—10+ mackerel in quick succession, followed by an epic battle with a 33” cobia that had everyone cheering. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, I hooked into a 6-foot hammerhead shark—the fight of a lifetime before we released it safely back into the deep.

Our captain was outstanding—accommodating, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about fishing. The gear was in top condition and easy to use, and he even cleaned our catch so we could enjoy it for dinner. This trip had it all: excitement, big fish, and great service.
