- Captain Phil was first introduced to fishing as a young boy in Connecticut, fishing the Long Island Sound from Block Island to Montauk, from the Connecticut River to the Thames River. The first boat he owned as a youngster was a 12’ MirroCraft, which was referred to as a “tin boat” back then. Captain Phil’s parents moved to Florida in the early 1980's which opened up a whole new world of fishing for him. He was eager to learn the different species in the Gulf and quickly fell in love with all it had to offer. He relocated to Florida in 2017 where he was given the opportunity to work with a few charter captains in the Clearwater area. Throughout his life, Captain Phil has been mentored by serious sport anglers and captains, and has the passion and desire to provide others the experience of “real life” fishing in the Gulf Coast, teaching and guiding along the way as he was taught over the years. Whether you're a novice or expert angler, Captain Phil will do all he can to provide you with a fun fishing adventure and a great day on the water!
