My son and I fished with Shotime Charters this week and had a great time.  Eddy was very responsive to our messages through Fishing Booker prior to our trip from Texas.  We caught five different species of fish (two types of grouper, snapper, catfish & snook) and were hooking fish most of the 4-hour trip.  The drive from the JW Marco Island was about 15 minutes and the boat ramp was very easy to find.  We learned that Eddy is the choice of several major fishing brands for their team charters in the Marco Island area.  I’m always unsure if I can trust online recommendations, but you won’t go wrong with Eddy and Shotime Charters.  After our trip we took our catch to nearby Cocomo’s Grill and had it prepared two ways, blackened Cocomo’s style and Jalapeño crusted.  Do this, it was one of the best overall fishing experiences we have had!

We had an incredible time on our 4-hour fishing charter exploring the Ten Thousand Islands with Captain Eddy. The scenery was stunning, and we caught a great variety of fish—ladyfish, snapper, speckled trout, Goliath grouper, snook, and crevalle jack. Captain Eddy was super chill, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and stress-free. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the species we were catching, and always helpful with rebaiting hooks and giving tips. Whether you’re experienced or a first-timer, he’s the kind of captain you want. We’re already planning on coming back and booking with him again!

I wanted to book a fishing trip that my family could enjoy together.  Captain Eddy delivered a great trip on the water for us.  A few in my family were new to fishing with spinning rods but somehow Eddy had all 5 of us fishing together.  He was patient, knowledgeable about both fishing and the wildlife/ecosystem, and just was a great person to spend some time on the boat with.  We caught several different types of fish but also enjoyed seeing the unique area of 10,000 islands.  I would book with Eddy again if we find ourselves in Marco Island again on vacation.  Thanks again for the great day.  The kids are still talking about it as a highlight of the trip.
