He served in the Marine Corps and spent a lot of time at sea aboard Navy ships. After his service, he continued to stay close to the water. Capt. Adam participates in charity events such as those held by the Wounded Warrior Project. He loves teaching people how to fish and working with kids – he's the proudest when he can swap a cell phone with a fishing rod in a kid's hand.
