We intended to fish inshore, but with Captain Alan’s recommendation, we decided to go further out and take our chances. He was right! After two hours of catching enough mackerel for multiple meals for our group of 9, we moved further out and caught sharks for two hours - hammerhead, silkies, and black tips. Alan was absolutely amazing taking us from spot to spot to giving us the greatest opportunity to catch fish and have a great time. Every time we stopped, he would literally run to get our poles in the water as quick as he could. He is incredibly professional, fun and knowledgeable, and anybody who does not book a tour with him is definitely making a big mistake. Thank you Allen my three sons and I had an incredible time.

Captain Alan has a very nice boat that easily accommodated 2 adults and 4 kids. He got us on the fish quickly, and we had a productive trip. He gave us a lot of fishing options and was open to whatever we were interested in. Everyone caught fish, which was great for the kids. Alan knows his fishing well! Was prepared to catch all sorts of fish, and probably the best thing was how patient he was with my sons. They were all ecstatic. He’s a very personable guy too, we talked for hours about the little but important things in life. Snook, sea trout, lady fish, some catfish and even a few shark. Captain Spangler was great, he took myself and three teenage boys out to Pine Island Sound to catch fish. His boat was a 26ft Carolina skiff with plenty of room. We fished from about 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, it was a sunny day with low breeze, Captain Spangler helped the boys cast to where the fish were located. All the boys were successful and landed fish! A great time was had by all!
