- Launched in 2021 by Mike Evans, Queen Mary 2 (QM2) began with a desire to provide high-quality private Sport Fishing experiences to tourists, businesses, and leisure travellers in Costa Rica. QM2 Sport Fishing is a fully licensed private boat charter company with our headquarters located in Flamingo, Costa Rica. We offer a unique guided sport fishing experience onboard our sleek ocean-friendly vessel making us one of the most desirable private eco tour companies in the Costa Rica. We take customer experiences personally and work tirelessly to ensure every fishing trip is not only successful but enjoyable till the very end. Our boat is a 23ft made Fisherman by Sportcraft, centre console powered by 150 HP Mercury Verado engine. There’s plenty of room with capacity for up to 3 guests to relax and enjoy the stunning local coastline. Onboard we have everything you need from GPS 3-1 sonar fish finder, Penn International reels and rods, bait, lures, WiFi, Bluetooth and a private restroom. We have proudly adopted the highest standards of ocean and eco marine care within our everyday working practice and continuously involved in fishing tourism and boat training programs, completing comprehensive industry specific courses which cover all aspects of the ocean life and leisure. As part of a flourishing coastal community dedicated to creating best-in-class marine fishing guidelines and eco standards, our goal is to become a leader in fishing expeditions and an opportunity to enjoy the best of Costa Rica’s abundant sea life in a healthy ocean atmosphere. We are committed to long-term sustainability of our precious oceans for future generations to come. The ocean has given me incredible experiences, love and enjoyment which I would like to pass onto my visiting guests We look forward to to welcoming you on board QM2.
