My son told me after the first 30 minutes…..”I see why they have a 5 out of 5 rating”.  It just got better after that.  Captain Gavin and Monkey went over the top not only making sure we caught fish but felt comfortable and had a great trip.  Best fishing trip I have ever been on.

After limiting out on red snapper and vermillion snapper, moved on to amber jacks, scoring 2 keepers live-lining. Great 6 hour day on the water for 7 anglers. Air-conditioned sport fisherman cabin. We enjoyed both captain and mate’s knowledge and company.

Planned as a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday for his friends and him. They could not praise the captains more. They had an absolute blast, caught a ton of fish, and cannot wait to go again!

Boys said this was their favorite part in the trip, we stayed a week in Orange Beach. we not only caught several fish and different kinds but seen tons of dolphins. Definitely will do this again.

We did the 4 hour trip…had the BEST time! 5 dads and 5 kiddos all catching fish and having a great time. We caught so many fish! They cleaned them all and we took our catch to a local restaurant afterward for lunch. Captain was great finding good water and the mate kept our hooks baited and ready to go. Really great day on the water! Highly recommend Southern Star.
