What would you recommend to anglers fishing in St. Clair Shores, Michigan for the first time?

I booked this charter for my boyfriends birthday and it was more than we could have asked for! Jim was awesome, very laid back and personable. We caught small mouth, walleye, and sheepshead. This was my first charter personally and it was one for the books. As a unit we would definitely book with Jim again! Great memories were made.

As long as the weather is good, I don’t think you can go wrong. Seriously one of the best lakes I’ve ever been to/fished. Absolutely beautiful and would recommend to anyone

Do your research on the various fish and seasons. We knew this was not the most ideal time of year for anything specific but we did great on the smallmouth.

Yes, my cousin was a first timer and he was given instructions and we had a great and productive day

Weather was unseasonably cold for us but still beautiful out on the lake. Definitely wear/pack layers so you're ready for anything.

Wait until late July or August. The fish were full of fish fly’s and were not biting.
