What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Tairua for the first time?

Tairua is a great location for fishing, try to plan your trip during the warmer months if targetting kingfish. Snapper are generally all year round although a few better fish caught through the cooler months.

Great fishing! I'm not exactly sure but I think May is the end of the season but we still managed to get some good fish!
