This afternoon we were lucky enough to get in the middle of one of the most savage Mingo Snapper bites I have ever seen. A couple Spanish mackerel also managed to find their way into the ice box as well. It was a great trip that saw 6 Cobia brought into the boat along with several other fish, sharks were out on the prowl but luckily we had some fast reelers aboard.

Some great table fare to be caught here at 850 Charters long after Red snapper have closed season. Come enjoy the local fishing experience!

We hammered some nice king mackerel right out front this morning, the waters were rough but the “Seahawk” was equal to the task. Came back to the dock with 4 smiling faces and a cooler full of fillets!

The Mangrove (black) snapper have started to show up on nearshore reefs in the gulf. We got into a good school this morning and brought home a few for dinner!

Had a great trip this morning, Got into a school of some nice vermillion snapper along some natural bottom around 70 feet deep. Fish tacos tonight!
