Need to get up early in the morning to catch these bad boys. The artificial wrecks off the St. Lucie inlet yielded this 30 + pound cobia with Charlie and his wife Lori.

The snook fishing has been good around the docks and seawalls around the Saint Lucie River. Catching them on artificial lures like the Yozuri 3D red head, large live shrimp and when available live pilchards. The latter being the choice bait. The snook have started to move out of their estuaries and are being caught along the St. Lucie River's docks, seawalls and bridges. Fish them by pitching live greenies early in the morning on the outgoing tide. I use 24 inches of 30lbs fluorocarbon leader with a 4 O circle hook. Have fun and practice catch and release.
