As the summer fishing winds down our fall patterns begin to unfold. Large adult and Sub-Adult redfish are moving into our inshore waters to spawn. From now through winter are some of the most consistent weeks to target and catch large adult redfish as well as large adult Black Drum. Our sea trout bite remains strong as we are catching numerous fish. As we move forward numbers will diminish however size will increase. There are still snook around and a few tarpon lingering. Also mangrove snapper and sheepshead action is picking up. In the freshwater we are getting good numbers of largemouth bass and the size is increasing. The fall is also a great time to enjoy the central Florida lakes and rivers. Overall this is one of my favorite times of year to get out on the water as the brutal heat is diminishing and the fishing is heating up.

Summer time fishing is here! We are catching lots of species and big fish too. Black drum action is off the chain. Big schools of large breeder black drum are everywhere making for great big fish action. Redfish action on the flats has been good, the backcountry and inlets are also both good. Large breeder redfish are starting to be caught pretty frequently and our summer time snook action is heating up. Decent numbers with lots of good quality fish being caught. Summer time trout fishing is in full effect with good numbers and some big fish mixed in. Juvenile tarpon are flooding the inshore waters and larger adult fish are starting to move in as well. Sharks are everywhere making for great fun and action. Big sharks are in inlets/beaches and smaller sharks inshore. Freshwater bass action is very steady and fun. Catching lots of smaller schooling bass on artificial first thing then targeting larger post spawn females on live bait after. This is just to name a few but one things for sure, summer fishing is hot, Let’s go!

Big redfish, big black drum and lots of trout action!

Best black drum fishing we have seen in years! Double digits being caught everyday!

The past few weeks fish have been switching into their summer patterns. We have been catching many nice Large Mouth Bass in and around the freshwater lakes and rivers of Orlando. The Saltwater fishing just east of Orlando has really been heating up as well. We have been on a fantastic Black Drum bite as well as good numbers of Redfish and sea trout. In the coming weeks the weather will get hotter and so will the fishing. As huge masses of baitfish make their way into the coastal waters of the space coast, snook, tarpon, and large redfish should be close behind.

Excellent mixed bag day on the water, Started the morning early jumping a couple tarpon and snook. We then moved to the flats where we caught some redfish and sea trout. Finished the day with a couple adult black drum! Fishing is on fire!
