Great day on the water with Jason B from Boca. We started early drifting live bait Jason got tired after catching 6 Bonito. I was thrilled...there is no better bottom bait than fresh Bonito. Jason had the luck...he was able to get a nice mutton snapper and black grouper past the TAX MAN. We did lose quite a few other snapper to them but got mild redemption by catching a few.

The Song family came from Chi-Town ready to fish. They did not disappoint. Tuna, Vermilion Snapper, Shark, Barracuda, Jack, Porgy, Yellowtail, Blue Runner, & undersized Scamp Grouper. They caught them all.

The day started with 3-5 foot seas. Thankfully Johnny was not deterred. After searching a few spots for the fish. We found them. While they were not monsters, they were quality fish. 11 snappers, 2 Almaco Jacks, one Amberjack, and a very cool driveby of a Great Hammerhead Shark.

Went out for a prospecting trip. Got my one-man limit of Vermillion Snapper, some nice Yellow Eye Snapper, and a tasty Snowy Grouper. Not bad for a few hours.
