When we fish the FADs, we like to get an early start. This trip we left the dock at 2 a.m., armed with lots of coffee. It takes about an hour from the dock to the FAD when we cruise at comfortable 20 knots. Water was like a mill pond, flat calm, no ripple. Tuna was on as soon as our lures were in the water. Then came a Wahoo on a jig. Finally a family of Mahi Mahi passed us by, so Flo threw out a surface lure and collect them all. Definitely worth getting up early for fishing like this.

We consider ourselves to be very lucky here on Bonaire. Within minutes of leaving our dock space and the marina mouth, our lines can be in the crystal clear water with at least 180 feet as our coastline drops off really quickly. It was our pleasure to take these guys out on the hunt for tuna and as you see, big smiles were had by all. For their first time experience they will be back. Thanks guys.
