We have been hammering the tautog lately. Yesterday and today were both steady action the entire trip, and we boated our limit of keeper fish each day. Not many shorts, and fish up to 22" both days. The tautog bite is on, and should only get better over the next few weeks.

The Striped Bass fishing is still great in the bay. Some smaller class fish have moved in, and more slot sized keeper bass have been in the mix. Still catching over sized and slot, with some undersized fish mixed in. Today was mostly slot sized, with a few overs, a few unders, and a dozen or more fish released. Pretty soon as the water temp continues to rise in the bay, the bigger class fish will mainly be found out front and around Block Island.

Another great trip today! A bunch of oversized fish released, and a limit of slot fish in the cooler. There are a lot of nice bass moving into the bay. If you have been waiting for the stripers to return, now is the time. Message for availability.
