With the cold fronts every 3 days seemingly over and some more calm weather settling in we have been on some very nice schools of Reds and Black Drum. The morning bite has been hot and later afternoon as well. Get out to Riverbreeze park in Oak Hill, FL and check out this great time.

Don't let the cooler temperatures keep you off the water. It's been HOT!!! out there. With water temperatures running mid to upper 60's the fishing has remained consistent. With mixed bags to be had regularly. We had 7 species on this day, nothing missing but the kitchen sink........ Maybe a black drum.

For the past few weeks with the water temperatures dropping several things have taken place. The water levels have lowered to about normal, the water clarity has improved considerably and.................... The Trout bite has been great. Friday's Charter was over 100 fish in 2 1/2 hours of fishing. Monday's about the same and the weeks before was very similar. Much bigger fish all on artificial and the bite is a couple hours into the morning so no need for getting out at the crack of dawn. What has also been going on is the sight fishing for reds has been excellent with the excellent water clarity but along with that comes the fish getting skiddish. Again, artificial's are the ticket.

John and AJ enjoyed a morning filled with Mosquito Lagoon Reds. Friday was their day to put the hammer down on some ML Reds. Weather was a bit breezy but the fish were active and feeding.
