The weather has made it tough to get iut weve had several big coastal storms lately. But seems like every time it does calm down and we slip out inti the ocean the fish are waiting! Lots of big bluefish aling with false albacores and Spanish mackerel. I haven’t been drifting but the shark guys say it’s been good. Sea bass and triggerfish are still on the wrecks we try those on 6 hour trips. I have openings. Lets roll!

Great fishing today. False albacores, red drum, big bluefish,Spanish mackerel, sea bass and even a couple keeper flounder. I have this Saturday open and the weather looks good. Lets go!!

Nice blue fish up to 6lbs around the inlet smoking trolled spoons. A few Spanish mackerel but Sept is usually a huge month for them. False albacores have shown up right on time and good catches of them continue into late Oct. drifting for sharks picked up this week they’re always fun on spinning tackle. And a good signof sea bass and triggerfish around on the wrecks. 1/2 day trips and 6 hour trips have been good. I fish until Nov then i go duck hunting

What a great week of fishing this past week on the outer banks! Loads of bluefish in the 2lb to 6lb range crushing lures while trolling. Sharks on the drift while chumming . False albacores have shown up look for them until Oct now. Spanish mackerel south of us. Sea bass and triggerfish on the wrecks while dropping bait. Great week of fishing.

What a mixed bag! Big red drum, bluefish, sharks,Spanish mackerel, triggerfish and sea bass to name some of the fish we encounter. Trolling, sight casting, drifting, bottom fishing were all the different techniques we used to catch these fish. By the 3rd week in Aug the false albacores usually show up. Hard fighting fish in the tuna family in the 5lb to 10lb range, great sport. The last 2 weeks of Aug can be really hot with the migration of fish starting to come back south for the fall and winter. Plenty of openings 40year local charter boat!

Mixed bag last 2 weeks. Trolling drifting chumming sight casting live baiting wreck fishing we did it all!! Big red drum are showing upin the ocean. Bluefish along the beaches but at times on 6 hours I’ve been to some wrecks that we’re holding 10lbers. Spanish macs on days the waters clear. A few trigger fish around most of those are on 6 hour trips . Good shark fishing when the water has been hot and muddy. Good 2 weeks
