Ocean Hunter is a professional outfitter.
Started with pick-up at our hotel, everything was top notch, and Captain Robbie and First Mate Hatch worked to get us on fish.

dont expect masses of fish on a 4 hour trip, that said its of course called fishing not catching.

Be prepared for relatively high seas but that is also what brings in the big fish! These guys are great!

Don’t worry about rough seas. We were never more than 4 miles from shore.

Nauti By Nature Sportfishing Team
Great place and lots of opportunities, but it’s a big area and before Christmas the fish are a bit more sparse as the waters are warm. Still, we lost a 100lb marlin and caught a 30lb+ wahoo. Not loads of other bites unfortunately but that’s fishing! Make sure you go to enjoy the day on the sea and if you catch something then it’s a bonus in November.

Always remember that it is fishing and not catching. We caught three fish during our full day trip. We were able to and a Mahi Mahi, a Wahoo (King Fish) and a Barracuda. There were slow times but with the right captain and mate keeping you entertained the full day passes too quickly.

For early in the season, my trip had GREAT results. Its called "fishing" for a reason. If you were garunteed to catch fish, then we would call it "catching"

Based on conversations with the crew, October is a bit slower fishing than summer or winter. Wahoo are available but a tough bite. Same with Mahi. Barracuda are readily available though and provide a good fight and the locals eat them. We've eaten them on the island (for the first time) and found them to be excellent. If I came back solely for fishing, I would probably come in January-February
