Sunblock - the sun is intense out there on the water. The fishing was pretty good but don’t expect fish to be jumping into the boat.

Catching fish is not guaranteed and the fish weren’t really biting the first half of the trip, but the Captain was persistent and got us in the right places and soon we were reeling them in.

Bring water and sunscreen. Wear flip flops as you will be barefoot while on the boat.

Make sure the people you bring don't get seasick. Or have them take motion sickness pills.

Make sure you book a captain and crew with very good experience of the best fishing areas to make the experience more fun.

If it’s your first time out on the water & you are not sure if you get seasick, take medication before going on the boat. Fun fact, there are a handful of places to pass out on this boat so it’s a decent size. If you fish regularly, you can easily have the best trip but if you’re new to it, (like me) you will definitely get the help you need to get through & have a great time! Beginners-advanced for sure.
