Split Decision II – Luxurious 38'
It's cold first thing and as you head out, so make sure to have at least a sweatshirt (maybe gloves if your hands are susceptible to chill). Once the sun comes up, it's toasty so you'll need sunscreen. No bathroom on the boat and the one at the marina isn't clean (per captain), so plan ahead. Bring a bag or cooler to transport your fish.

Salty Dog Fishing Adventures
Buy your drinks and snacks the day before from a convenience store or Walmart to save a little money. Maybe get a bag of ice. They had a block of ice in the cooler. That was fine for us. Another bag wouldn't hurt. Another thing I will bring on my next trip will be a Shoulder Back Harness that clips onto your reel. These are some really big fish. They will wear your arms out. A harness would have helped out quite a bit.

Definitely book a morning trip and the longer the better to increase your odds of a catch. This was our second time fishing here in Cabo, the first time we didn’t catch anything.

My advice is to book an 8hr trip. More time on the water allows you to travel to less fished waters. Bring cash and tip well, they will work their ass off to put you on fish!
