if you have questions before the trip, dont hesistate to reach out! These guys are super knowledgeable and friendly and with the rules for FWC changing recently, we had some hiccups with obtaining our non FL resident licenses but after having a conversation with Matt during our trip, I realized my stress could have been avoided if I would have reached out!

It’s like catfishing, (I’m from Ohio) except you are fishing in a huge ovean. Tight line, sitting and waiting for that bite, conversation, with a beautiful sunrise on a beach.

Yes this trip can be for the complete beginner with no experience to the 10+ year fishing veteran. The shark experience is very unique and NSB is a great place for it.

It’s definitely a bit choppy towards the end of December, but still fun. The temperature is perfect. The town itself feels like a great fishing town with friendly locals.

Yes. The captain we had was knowledgeable about everything fishing. He ensured we only caught fish that were of legal size and type. He also had sufficient equipment and also various places to fish when any of the places were not yielding any success.

Wear a sunshine AND a neck gator. I left my gator and hat at home. Will definitely bring them next time. I am not a fan of sunscreen.

The captain told us that snapper season is around end of April and first of May (I think). I caught 4 baby snappers but we couldn’t keep them bc of the season. Also, they get really big so if I was going to book another trip, I’d look at what’s in season then go from there. But either way it’s going to be a great time!
