Had Scott out with his group, had a mixed bag of both Sea Bass and Striped Bass. Wasn’t a banner day but we put some meat in the box.

Had Ronnie and her son Shane out on a mothers Day trip.Manged 3 Slot keeper Bass and a Bluefish for the box with over a dozen over/under Bass released.

If you want to be on the striper I would recommend going a little bit earlier in the season. It was pretty cold in the morning so I wouldn’t recommend for kids.

Would have loved to catch some Striped Bass but I don't think we went at the best time of year for them. We did catch a wide variety of other types, however, and several were even keepers!

Yes I would recommend fishing stripers for the first time in May. Jason from the Janie k sportfishing was excellent so was his deck hand both very knowledgeable and both went the extra mile for you to make sure you were comfortable and caught the fish you wanted.
