Well now… pull up a tailgate and lemme tell ya about the kind of day that makes a fella grin like he just found an extra biscuit in the skillet. Today on Table Rock we started the morning shakin’ a minnow like it owed us money. That subtle shimmy had those bass fired up early. They were thumpin’ it in the clear water like they hadn’t eaten since last deer season. Then when the sun climbed up and those fish slid a little deeper… Oh buddy… we started crankin’. That crankbait was deflectin’ off rock and timber like a pinball in a moonshine machine — and every bounce felt like it might get freight-trained. And it did. More than once. But the real country thunder rolled in when the Alabama rig came out to play. Five wires flashin’, lookin’ like a school of shad tryin’ to escape Sunday supper. When that rig swung through the zone? Heck of a day out on Table Rock Lake, I tell ya what! Took a couple good ol’ boys out on a guided trip and buddy… the fish were flat out BITIN’! Weather was so perfect it felt like the Good Lord ordered it special — bluebird skies, just enough breeze, and bass chompin’ like they ain’t ate in a week. We stacked up a mess of bass and even hauled in a real nice catfish that tried his best to head back to Arkansas with our bait. That big ol’ whisker fish put up a fight, but he wound up in the boat grinnin’ for pictures. Them boys put them Trika 10X rods and Trika reels to WORK today. Over 20 bass this afternoon. Not bad for an instructional electronics trip on Table Rock. We caight them on everything from Alabama Rigs to Crankbaits. Now is a great time to book a guided trip to learn electronics as well as early prespawn patterns!

Water temp was 45 degrees today at the dam. 20 bass in an afternoon of fishing with one pushing almost 5lbs. Caught them shaking a minnow and cranking. Great weather this week perfect time to book a guided trip!

Got out Thursday this week to check out some new water and caught 25 nice keeper. Fish were 40 to 50 foot deep and schooled up great. Right now we are dealing with snow but next week it will warm back up. Water temp was 47 and the fish were really active!
