The weather is starting to cool off a little bit and the fishing is heating up!! The Red Snapper are biting good and will only get better as the temps cool off more, Amberjack are open as well and triggerfish, we will hopefully see some nice Mahi and Sailfish being caught soon as well, Fall fishing in the Florida Panhandle is fantastic and the weather is typically beautiful! Great trip catching our limit of Red Snapper and Vermilion Snapper!! It was just one of those days the fish bit everywhere we went! Gota love day's like that and the gulf was slick calm as well, lots of live bait has been around and easy to catch on most mornings lately when we have a little time to catch them, although the fish were chewing on dead bait today, trolled for king Mackerel and Mahi at the end for some bonus fish but they unfortunately eluded us on this particular day, as the summer heats up more the Mahi should become more plentiful along with kings, bonita and hopefully a Sailfish encounter soon! Good start to our Summer Snapper season and look forward to meeting new people and making some memories, its what we do here @ fish frenzy charters! Book a trip and try your luck Offshore you never know what you may encounter but rest assured we will be ready for every situation on my boat! Today was the first day of Red Snapper fishing for our 2025 season and we caught our limit of some nice fish along with some bonus fish like Vermilion Snapper and triggerfish! We could of filled the box if the trip would have been longer, we are looking forward to a great season, the summer time Red Snapper season will open back up June 1st till July 31st, to catch Red Snapper and other offshore fish make sure to book an Offshore trip, we recommend 5,6 or 8 hour trip for this type of fishing! today we had a half day offshore adventure, and from the time we started all the way until the end we had poles bending and Fish coming over the side of the boat. We caught a red grouper and a king mackerel, which really both put up a wonderful fight. And we even caught some greater amberjack that got the best of us a few times, but we managed to get a few out of there. And don’t let me forget we also hit a four person limit on Vermillion snapper which was 40!! and we also seen a few cobia that would not bite or eat anything, but it was still a wonderful site to see along with the 20+ pound red snapper that we’re coming up to the side of the boat!

The bite was really slow and the fish were really lethargic, but soon as feeding time began, the bite was on. we lost many, but we caught a couple.
