Well I was summoned back to the Striper grounds in Colusa Ca. And they didn’t disappoint! Boats were constantly netting fish We started trolling with lures dressed with K Brock white worms that had various colors of tails, red, floruresent green, pink n plain white. Had several good bites and lost a couple but landed big fish of day on a lure. Lure bite stopped so we switched to minnows. The water is a bit stained still but that hasn’t slowed the Striped Bass from finding our minnows, or lures! Limits have been the rule every day! The striper bite has been phenomenal. Cool mornings and warm afternoons make being on the Sacramento river even more enjoyable. So far finding the honey hole has not been a challenge.
