We trolled for half the trip and bottom fished for the other half. We had a few come off while trolling but they are out there. The bottom fishing bite is super light because its so deep. Start reeling as soon as you feel them bitiing.

Weather was a little stormy so we should have brought light rain gear but it improved the fishing tremendously. Great experience.

there is still fish around to catch but what i was told was the bigger game fish run in june-july but for a short trip to st. thomas it was great fishing and catching fish

Wear shoes that have good traction, pack non spray sunscreen, and do not forget to drink water. If you are known to get sea sick I recommend taking ginger capsules before you get on the boat to calm your stomach

If youโre fishing with children book a half a day trip take snacks catch a lot of fish. Do you know what youโre doing? Doing all day trip go out and catch some big fish deep water come back in. Do some bottom fishing and get some snapper. Call it a day.

Be prepared for a foul smell at the pier. St Thomasโ government really needs to clean that sea grass crap up. Itโs not fair to residents or visitors.
