We started at 7a.m the rain had just stopped. We were outside the lagoon. Not far out we spoted a school of skipjacks. We hooked 2 and caught one that we used as live bait. Unfortunately about an hour later the skipjack died. We went back with artificial lures. We went through 9 to 10 schools of doradoes...the fish did not want to bit . We managed to get 3 strikes and caught 2 of them. The doradoes were 19 and 21 pounds

Out for a 5hours afternoons trip. We tried catching skipjacks or yellowfins as there were some schools of fish at the surface. Unfortunately no success. We then tried trolling with big lures around the schools of skipjacks. It revealed itself successful as we hooked a nice black marlin on the long rigger line. After some fight the Marlin was in.

We caught a wahoo few minutes after the reef. Then moved to deeper waters where we caught a 150pounds blue. After loosing two marlins earlier this week . A big one where the line broke and second hook off we finally caught this splendid fish. More to come in the coming days.
