Incredible day on the water fishing the Everglades with Kirk on his birthday. We started about 8 AM in the morning drove down to flamingo boat ramp in Everglades national Park in Homestead, which is a 38 mile drive into the park down to the boat ramp, I dropped the boat in the water at the boat ramp, and we proceeded to start our day fishing Everglades National Park first place we stopped we got a couple mangrove snappers and a nice snook . we moved through Joe’s River heading to Ponce de Leon and the shark river to fish for snook and tarpon. We stopped along the way at a little spot that I have for snappers and boy did we clean house we must’ve caught at least 9 to 10 snappers 13 to 14 inches for my clients to take home for dinner. We finished up there and headed to the shark river where we caught a bunch more snappers sheep, head, and black drum before we knew it time was flying by and we had to head back to the boat dock .what an incredible trip we had a special one because it was Kirk‘s birthday and he caught all of his target species. Well, today’s winds were blowing around 30 miles an hour. Weather was rough 2 to 3 foot sees. From the moment we dropped the boat in the water was pretty rough, but my client said they wanted to proceed so we did we decided to do the interior of the park because the winds were just so bad it was really our only option. We finished buttonwood and Tarpon Creek and caught a couple nice snook and some pretty nice size Redfish halfway through the trip we decided to make the run to the shark river, we fished around there for about another hour and a half. Then we started to head back Fish Tarpon Creek and got a nice grouper and black drum. Everybody was very happy end of the trip. Thanks for choosing **hidden content** thank you guys, Captain Joey.

This was a cool fishing trip. I had a father contact me wanting to take his two sons fishing and also bring a friend along for the trip. I said no problem. They were camping in the park overnight and wanted to go fishing the next day. We dropped in the water about 9 o’clock, and we fished all the way from buttonwood channel to shark River We end up catching a lot of nice species of fish, snook, snapper sheep, head along with Lady fish and some other others. It was my pleasure showing these guys around the Florida Everglades and what a way to cap off a camping trip. Good luck guys hope to see you guys real soon in the future .
