We kicked off the day trolling with two live bonitas, chasing the dream of a trophy marlin. Nine miles offshore, the ocean suddenly came alive—birds dive-bombing the surface in a full-on feeding frenzy. That was our cue to switch gears and unleash kite fishing, one of the most deadly techniques out there. The action was nonstop: four hard-fighting tuna landed and two more lost in brutal battles. An unforgettable day on the water, sealed the only proper way—celebrating with fresh tuna sashimi.

Light tackle for this trip, lookig for a mahi close to the coast, weu caught five nice mahis and lost 3 more! Lot of skipjacks around, was a great day! The best fish for dinner. Also a sailfish bite a little lure but not hooked enough.

Startgun at 07:00h, running at 30 knots and starting trolling at 10 miles out, we lost a big marlin on a lure (short outrigger) after 5 minutes fighting. Then find lot of birds and catch a tuna!
