On December 19th, we hosted an 8 hour fishing tour for a father and son, and it turned into an unforgettable day on the water. Even though the rain came down hard at times, the energy stayed high from start to finish and it never stopped the fun. The father and son were in great spirits all day, and the little boy was especially excited every time the rods went off. We focused on trolling and also worked with live bait to keep the action steady, and it absolutely paid off. They caught many, many bonito throughout the trip, with consistent bites that kept everyone busy and smiling. The best part was seeing how happy the young angler was, he was thrilled with the catches and the whole experience. To keep everyone comfortable, we had sandwiches on board and made sure they were taken care of between bites. At the end of the tour, they decided to keep their fillets to take home, proud of what they landed and ready to enjoy the fresh catch. Despite the wet weather, it was a fantastic father and son adventure and a day we will remember.
