Trip Summary

On December 20th, we headed out at 8:00 AM for an 8 hour fishing trip with a couple on board, and it turned into a wonderful day on the water. We mixed it up with bottom fishing and trolling, keeping steady action throughout the trip and making the most of the conditions. They did great bottom fishing and caught several fish, then we switched to live bait and that’s when the fun really picked up. They landed a few bonito and also hooked a barracuda on live bait, which made for an exciting fight and a great highlight of the day. Between bites, we enjoyed sandwiches on board, and we also prepared a fresh ceviche using the bonito and barracuda, an amazing meal to enjoy right out on the water. To top it off, they took some time to jump in and swim in the ocean, making it the perfect mix of fishing, food, and relaxation. Great catches, great vibes, and an all around fantastic 8 hour trip.

On Sunday, January 4, a father-and-son team headed out for a 4-hour fishing tour departing at 12:30, enjoying perfect conditions from start to finish. The ocean was flat and beautiful, and the sunny weather made for an ideal afternoon on the water. The anglers mixed trolling and jigging, fishing with both artificial lures and live bait to maximize their chances. The approach paid off with the successful catch of a powerful amberjack along with several bonito, keeping the action steady and exciting. With calm seas and clear skies, the conditions couldn’t have been better. It was not only a productive trip but also a memorable experience, sharing quality time on the water and making lasting memories together. On January 2, we headed out for a 6-hour offshore trip starting at 8:00 AM with a family of four, and the day could not have been better. The ocean was flat and the weather was beautiful, making for a comfortable ride and perfect fishing conditions. We started the trip using a combination of live bait and trolling, covering good water and staying on the move to find active fish. The highlight of the morning was landing a solid wahoo, which is always an exciting catch, and January is one of the best months of the year to target them in this area. Later on, we switched things up with some bottom fishing and had steady action, catching many triggerfish and keeping everyone busy and having fun. Overall, it was a fantastic trip with great conditions, consistent bites, and a nice mix of techniques and species.

On December 30th we headed out at 12:30 PM for a 4-hour fishing trip with a family of four. The two boys focused on fishing while the two girls relaxed on the boat, swam, and enjoyed the ride. Conditions were great overall — calm seas, warm water, and a sunny day with a few light showers passing through. Fishing was very productive. While trolling, the boys landed several bonito, keeping the action steady. We then switched to jigging, which paid off with a huge amberjack, a real highlight of the trip. Both live bait and artificial lures were used successfully throughout the day. It was a fun, relaxed outing with great catches, good weather, and a happy crew all around.
