Over the weekend we were able to land several quality Sheepshead in a short afternoon outing. We used fiddler crabs and fished an outgoing tide. Between jetties and docks we picked away at our fish never finding a wide open bite but instead found a consistent catch with a few fish on each spot. Included in our catch were several other smaller sheepshead that were released.

As we roll into Thanksgiving the fishing had continued to stay great. The redfish and Sheepshead have consistently been biting on various tides depending on location. We have been able to catch our fosh using a combination of live shrimp and fiddler crabs. On our inshore trips I use light tackle running 15-20lb test braid and flourocarbon to increase our chances of a bite as well as to make the fight more fun. Water temps are dropping but the bite is heating up.

Beautiful morning of family fishing here in Jacksonville. We had light winds and clear skies and hungry fish. We caught a variety of fish including Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and Redfish. All fish were caught using live shrimp and fiddler crabs.
