We wrapped up a productive 6-hour Gulf trip with great conditions and steady action throughout the day. Seas were cooperative, and the bite stayed consistent once we got set up on the structure. We focused on nearshore to light offshore bottom fishing, putting clients on a solid mix of snapper and grouper, with a few bonus fish mixed in. The fish were holding tight, and once we dialed in the depth, it was rod-bending action. The crew stayed busy, everyone got tight lines, and the box filled up nicely.
