We was hootin’, hollerin’, carryin’ on like a bunch of fools — just the way fishin’ oughta be. Boatside was lookin’ like a dang fish fry tryout! Now lemme tell ya somethin’… I got me a few afternoon trips still open this comin’ week, and these fish ain’t slowed down a lick. Y’ALL… this mornin’ on Lake Taneycomo wasn’t fishin’—it was straight up trout destruction. Had a rowdy crew down from Iowa and we flat out went to WAR on ‘em. Rods doubled over, drags screamin’, folks hollerin’ like we was at a county fair—absolute mayhem! Looked like them trout forgot how to act and we sure didn’t let ‘em off easy! And get this—all them trout got wrangled in on Trika rods and reels, and they put in WORK. Smooth as butter and tougher than a boot, just how we like it. I’m tellin’ ya, the bite right now is hotter than a two-dollar pistol and these fish are dumber than a box of rocks. If you ain’t gettin’ in on this action, you’re seriously missin’ out.
