It is now late January and winter is definitely making its presence known. We left the dock at 8am and had temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. Although it was chilly while the boat was moving ,the day was gorgeous when we stopped to fish. We found plenty of clean water working in and out of creeks but we struggled to find fish willing to eat. Once the tide shifted and started to come back in the fish turmed on. We were able to land a handful of trout and redfish in short order but had to work hard to find the fish that wanted to cooperate.
