We just had a major cold front here in Florida, but now with rising temperatures every day, we will start to see waves of spawning fish pulling up to the bank to lay their eggs, which can be a great time to target some extra large fish either protecting their beds or first, coming up to drop some eggs. We also have a lot of fish still offshore and in some of the heavy grass mats. There are a variety of ways to catch them. This time of the year from worms to crank beats to swim beats, and even on some of the warmer days, a top water. We will slowly see an increase in spawning fish as the temperatures rise every day so now is a great time to get out on the water and experience what Florida bass fishing has to offer.
