Trip Summary

Fishing was a grind today, but the crew stayed at it and made it happen. On our morning shared charter, we dealt with a ripping current pushing 2.5–3 mph, which made bottom fishing a challenge. Even with the tough conditions, we managed to box up a nice mix of Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, and Triggerfish to keep the coolers filling. For the afternoon 3-hour quick trip, we switched gears and put the lines out trolling. That move paid off with a solid 10 lb tuna hitting the deck. We also picked away at a few more snapper on the bottom despite the heavy current. No trophies today, but that’s fishing — conditions change daily. The important part? Happy clients and fresh fish for dinner. Everyone went home with some quality meat, and that’s always a win in our book. If you’re thinking about getting offshore, now’s the time to book. Let’s go fishing! — Capt. Colton ?
