Family's first time deep sea fishing!

Departed the dock at 8:00, stopped by the bait dock and picked up some sardines and mackerel. Made our way down south in the beautifully calm water, saw a few dolphin as we approached our first fishing spot. Was a slow start to the morning, however started to pick up towards the end of our 5 hour trip with a very nice variety of fish for the day! Scuplin, calico, white fish, blue perch, mackerel, rock fish, johnny bass, and sheepshead! Tried a few different spots throughout the day ans ended it with a solid spot hooking fish every 5-10 min. Saw a few dolphins and kept our eyes out for whales. Fun day for this family!

Left the slip at 7:30 AM. Stop at bait dock for live Sardines then ran offshore about 4 miles to troll for Bonito. No luck there but a very large70 Plus lb fish jumped twice next to the boat. We then when inshore to fish for Bass. We ended up catching 28 fish of 7 different varieties for two people. We saw 3 different pods of Dolphins and one Ca Grey Whale on the way back. Great Day of winter fishing

Left the slip at 8:00 AM and stopped at the bait dock for live Sardines. We already had squid for bait also. Cruised out for 3 miles and put the trolling jigs in the water in hopes of getting Some Bonito. We hooked up within 15 mintes and the young son fought the fish fopr about 10 minutes. He was very Happy. We then close to shore to anchor up and fish for Bass, Sheepshead, Calico Bass, Ocean White Fish. We caught them all. Fun day for everyone.
