We fished three nearshore trips today. The first trip was cold and wet. The fish must have been cold to because they did not bite. The wind backed off for the second trip and we were able to go into the gulf and find some hungry fish. Huge difference from the morning trip. The third trip was awesome with the fish continuing to bite. The weather will be better the next few days. The fishing is going to be good. Time to book a trip.

We picked up a late afternoon charter with two folks. On the way out to the oil rigs we spotted schools of redfish feeding on top. We went on to catch and release 7 bull reds. We then went on the oil rigs and keep 9 sheephead. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon. Don’t miss out. Book your trip.

The Lil Red went on a 4 hour nearshore trip leaving at 11:00 am. We have a full load of six folks. The sheephead were hungry for our shrimp and fiddler crabs. On thr way back in we came across some schooling redfish and was able catch on a casting jig. Grear trip overall. We have opening for your group.
