It was a little rough this morning. We managed to make it work though. They were biting the shrimp today. We have some openings.

We made another trip to the nearshore oil rigs and were rewarded with sone fast and furious fishing. These caught them fast and said take it to the house. Great trip.

The sheepshead continue to bite as they congregate around the nearshore rigs in preparation for spawning. Light spinning tackle with shrimp or fiddler crabs is the winning combo for these tasty, hard fighting fish. Don’t miss out on the easiest fishing of the year.
