Been a great week of fishing and catching on the forgotten coast here in carrabelle. Popping corks with chartreuse paddle tail jigs are the go to lure set up. The key is have a longer pause in between cork pops. Lots of overslot trout and some over slot reds sent back to make more fish for the future!

It's definitely feeling like spring on the forgotten coast, air and water temps are up. Spent a nice afternoon with Troy and Diane doing some catch and release fishing. Several redfish on the small side and some nice big trout, all on lures and Diane got one big trout on fly, a chartreuse and white clouser minnow. Best lures of the day where chartreuse paddle tails and the old reliable gold spoon!

The weather has been perfect for inshore fishing around carrabelle, some nice catches of redfish and trout mostly on soft plastics and jigs. Had a great day with Ben and Coop. Seeing lots of sealife on the grass flats, rays and turtles and LOTs of mullet!
