Time to start thinking about booking that charter fishing trip in ocean city... although we have a few more weeks of cool temps as the water warms the fish will be responding... We should begin seeing inshore tautog start to eat after a cold slumber... and I suspect flounder are making their way back towards the bays as the days get longer. looking forward to an abundant 2026 fishing year!

Water temps are solid in the 50's and the Tog are chewing... can't catch them from the couch, so get in touch with me and lets get you out on the water to make the report! The large model in the cover picture of this report was measured at 32.5 inches and 20lbs... fish of a lifetime... many others in the 5lb to 8lb range...

with 70 degree days and cooling nights, the fish are starting to behave like winter is on the way... The flounder are cooperating and moving into the deeper channels and the Tautog are finally getting hungry... looking forward to a beautiful fall season, hoping to meet some new anglers aboard Running Tide Charters...
