Fishing Report October 2025 The fishing was on fire for the month of October. The water cooled down in the high sixties, and the fish responded. Plenty of Speckled Trout and Black Drum, Redfish were to be had. Lots of slot fish for the dinner table. Live shrimp was the primary bait fished under a cork anywhere from two feet deep to eight feet deep. Oysterbeds and runouts were productive. The jetties some really nice Bull Redfish with cut Whiting being used as bait.

Fishing Report Week of 5 May 2025 The backwater bite has been really great these past few weeks. Catching plenty of Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum. There were some mornings that we had a high tide first thing and the topwater bite has been awsome. The plug of choice was a 3 1/8 inch Skitterwalk. Live shrimp on a cork has worked well fishing over oysterbars and rocks. Also been using live shrimp on a ¼ ounce jighead around docks for Redfish and Black Drum. Catching plenty of Whiting in the 20 to 30 foot range using shrimp and Fishbites.

Despite the weather being alittle chilly on some days the fishing has been pretty good. We have been getting some really nice redfish and speckled trout. On the days the weather was not freezing and we were able to get on the water the fish were willing to bite. Getting live shrimp has been challangingdue to the water temps, but mud minnows have worked just fine. Using the floating cork over structure has worked well. Also have been using a 1/4 ounce jighead on the bottom aslo produced.
